H&M Spring 2021 mixes sporty and 90s minimalist elements with sustainable materials, some of which have already been introduced in previous collections. The brand is taking the next step in its commitment to sustainable fashion with Agraloop Biofibre, which first debuted in the H&M Conscious Exclusive AW20 Collection, and is now being featured in a main collection. The innovative material turns oilseed hemp waste into a natural fiber, and it appears alongside other materials like organic cotton jersey, denim and poplin, and crisp organic linen.
The collection includes some materials that are undyed, silhouettes that play with volume and easy tailoring. The collection includes everything from dresses and sleeveless tanks and vests to single-breasted blazers and trench coats. By 2030, H&M is aiming to use 100% recycled or other sustainably sourced materials.
